Abortion Pill Reversal introduces supplemental progesterone into the body after mifepristone has been taken. This works to restore the hormonal support the pregnancy needs to continue. Progesterone has been used safely in pregnancy for more than 50 years, including for women with a history of miscarriage, and one study reported a continuation rate of approximately 64–68%.
Reversal is most effective when started within 24 hours of taking mifepristone, but it may still be possible up to 72 hours after. Even if you are unsure how much time has passed, do not wait to reach out.
